The University Chaplains offer free counselling and guidance for students and employees at Aalborg University and University College of Northern Denmark (UCN). The University Chaplains are outside "the system", bound by complete confidentiality and we do not keep records. You can also contact us anonymously if you prefer.
Through personal counselling we offer help with personal, social, study related or existential/religious problems. This can be issues such as grief or loss, loneliness, lack of self-esteem, identity crisis, problems with your studies, stress, faith/doubt or a completely different issue. You do not need to have a religious conviction or belong to an organized religious community. Everybody, irrespective of religious beliefs, are welcome. Normally we have no or only a very short waiting time.
Our offices are located at Kroghstræde 3 and in the Student House on Gammeltorv in Aalborg C. You are welcome to drop by our office if you need someone to talk to. Please contact us in advance if you want to make sure not to miss us. You are also welcome to contact us privately, if urgent also at 'odd' hours.
